I find it so hard to post regularly...how do you all do it?!! Any opinions on this thrift store find? I was looking to redecorate our mantle for summer and it was only $2.99. I can't decide if I love it or should send it back to the old beach motel it probably came from. The colors are amazing...but....I'm not sure! Any thoughts? Is it the light heavenly or just sort oddly Bermuda trianglish?

Hmmm. Close up it seems fine but in the context of the whole fireplace the colors look garish.

ok so it's not by turner! so what! and what does price have to do with it any way! Take the other stuff off the mantle,keep it leaning, surround it with treasures as the summer progresses,;take another photo in the fall .It can be your summer magnet,like a base for a living scrapbook.

Do you ever feel so unsure and then end up loving something? You sound more unsure to me, but then again, I think you (not just anyone, I mean literally you, Michele) can make anything look good with placement and other details.

I love the colors and the feeling it evokes when you look at it!!! For that price...I say keep it! :)

I would whitewash the frame and maybe add some blueish and gold items on mantle. Just my take.
