Find & Go Seek

Find_seek_card

Sandra & I scouted our next Find & Go Seek Flea Market Adventure this weekend.  We drove out to Pennsylvania on Saturday night (after our garage sale, longest day ever!!)  We spent the night at the Inn at Reading and got up early on Sunday to check out some places I hadn't been to in a few years.

We always want to work out all the kinks before we take a busload of customers out antiquing for the day.  Plus it's a great excuse for us to shop!

On Saturday, June 28th we will host our next trip to Schup's Grove with a side stop at Adams Antiques, in Adamstown, PA.  Stop by the shop for more info and make sure you book early!

Ah, so that's how you two made it all seem so effortless ... hard work!

I had such a great (and fruitful) time last trip. I can't wait to see what's in store at The Grove!

Since we're on the topic of Find & Go Seek allow me to share a few of my finds...I think our Seekers are going to love Schups Grove. So much to find! I know I can't wait to go back!

Most notable of my finds is a table made from reclaimed barn wood. The legs are turned by amish carpenters (after all, Adamstown is in Lancaster, county). I think it's both rustic and elegant. I've been looking for a dining room table for some time, I think I was just waiting until I found this one because it's perfect! Now to find the chandelier...

Lots of unique stuff from both Adamstown and Kutstown. Michele and I went Renningers in Kutztown last week, too (Find & Go Seek re-con is tough, but someone has to do it).

Polka dot nesting bowls bowls (one red, one teal and one yellow), a glass pitcher (which is just right for serving lemonade on the porch) and painted wood lamb and the bunny lawn decor from the 40's (perfect for easter or the baby's room) all of which I found at Schups Grove. A blue tool box, a pink and blue lunch box and six "sour cream" glasses with a pretty teal design all from Renningers. I've given the boxes to my almost six and almost four year-olds to use as memory boxes. In the name of fairness now I have to find one for the toddler...Right now I'm imagining drinking lemonade from the glasses...

What fun! Thanks for driving, Michele!

I'm so glad it's on a weekend, I really want to go! The place you chose looks great.

Yea! A weekend trip. If I can convince hubster to stay home from the shore for a weekend, I'm definitely going to join you and bring a friend.

Looks like ya'll have awesome flea markets!! Thanks for stopping by, Theresa
